Haywood Price Lineberger, Jr. ’45

Dr. Price Lineberger of Atlanta died November 20, 2013. He was preceded in death by his parents, Haywood Price Lineberger and Sue Marie Robinson Lineberger and his sister, Martha Ann Lineberger. Dr. Lineberger is survived by his cousin, Don Robinson. Dr. Lineberger was a graduate of Davidson College and also Emory University School of Dentistry, graduating in 1948, and then practiced dentistry for 47 years.

He also received an honorable discharge for his service in the US Army serving in the Korean Conflict. He was an avid supporter of the arts and enjoyed the symphony as well as the opera. He traveled often and with enthusiasm, touring most of the major and minor Art Museums in his travels and returned with a detailed accounting for his friends and family.

His activities included being a communicant at The Cathedral of St. Philip where a memorial service will be held Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at 9:30 in the morning. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Parkinson’s disease Foundation. A special thanks is given to Dr. Lineberger’s caregiver, Sharon, who helped to preserve the quality of his life every day.
