Kirk Raymond Orrell, 35, of Charlotte, N.C., died Thursday, Feb. 15 at Carolinas Medical Center.
Mr. Orrell was the son of Raymond B. and Audrey L. Orrell of Andover. He was a 1984 graduate of Phillips Academy and graduated from Davidson College in Davidson, N.C. in 1988.
He worked for Clariant Corp. for the past nine years. Most recently, he was the business manager for Clariant’s North American Cellulose Ethers and Polymeristates division. Prior to that, he was director of materials management for Clariant North America.
In addition to his parents, members of his family include his wife, Katherine Price Orrell; a daughter, Emily Elizabeth Orrell, both of Charlotte; two brothers, Jeffrey Paul Orrell and Todd Douglas Orrell, both of Andover; one niece; and one nephew. He was also the brother of the late Mark Peter Orrell.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, Feb. 24 at 11 a.m. at New England Bible Church, 60 Chandler Road. Call 475-4381 for more information.
