Jerry Hunt Greene passed peacefully with his beloved friends and family by his side. Jerry was born in Charlotte, NC and graduated from Myers Park High School and Davidson College where he was a football star.
Jerry was loved by so many. He was fondly known as Greeneman, Greenie, Gentleman Jerry and Dawg among many others.
Jerry is survived by his children Kathryn Greene and Hunt Greene (Kris) as well as his grandchildren Michael, Daniel (Rhea), Cameron, Will and Matt.
He is preceded in death by his parents Abner and Faye Greene and his grandson Jacob Heyman.
Rest in peace sweet Greeneman. We are raising a glass to you in heaven and as you said, “see you on the other side.” A celebration of life will be held at a future date. In lieu of flowers please consider a contribution to A Roof Above or a charity of your choice.
