The Rev. Dr. William R. Conine, Jr., 81, of LaGrange, GA died Thursday, November 12, 2015 after a lengthy illness.
Dr. Conine served as minister at seven churches in the Georgia area and was presently the Parish Associate at the First Presbyterian Church of LaGrange.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Clare McCarley Conine; son, W. Roy Conine, III (Kathy) of Ellerslie, GA; daughter, Cathy Kennedy of Marietta, GA; daughter, Beth Bean (Steve) of McCormick, S.C.; grandchildren, Ben Barnes, Alex Conine, Alison Kennedy, Madeline Kennedy, and Andrew Kennedy; great grandchild, William Wyatt Conine; sister, Pegge Murphy (Ed) of Huntsville, AL; and several nephews.
Memorial service will be held 3:00 P.M. Sunday, November 15, 2015 at First Presbyterian Church of LaGrange. The reception will be in the church fellowship hall immediately following the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that contributions to the Dr. William R. Conine, Jr. college fund be made to First Presbyterian Church of LaGrange.
