Thomas Randall Bridges (Randy) passed away on November 28, 2015. Randy was born March 9, 1947 in Newport News, Virginia to Elaine Williams McCallum and Thomas Newton Bridges.
Randy grew up in McColl, SC and graduated high school in 1965 as the class Valedictorian. He graduated from Davidson College in 1969 with a degree in Religion.
Randy was very strong in his faith. Most recently attending NW Presbyterian Church in Atlanta, where he was a member for 39 years and served as a Deacon for many years.
Randy was predeceased by both parents, Elaine Williams McCallum of Laurinburg, NC, Thomas Newton Bridges of Hampton, VA. Stepfather, Joseph B. McCallum, III of McColl, SC. His nephew Joseph McCallum Nichols, of Laurinburg, NC.
Survivors include his wife Sheila Bridges of Hampton, his daughter Bonnie Marie Bridges of Yorktown, his sister Candy McCallum Nichols (Dean) of Laurinburg, NC and his nephew Charles D. Nichols, III (Melanie) of Laurinburg, NC. Randy was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
Arrangements made by Weymouth Funeral Home, Newport News, VA. Services will be held at 11:00, Thursday December 3, 2015 at Buckroe Baptist Church, 1819 N Mallory Street, Hampton, VA 23664.
