James W. Winters, age 84, of Lake Park, FL, passed into the loving hands of God on June 16, 2014.
He was predeceased by his parents Bert and Margaret Winters. He is survived by his wife Sue Winters, eight children Pam Grantham, James S. Fogleman (Sherry), Susan Hoerber (Doug), Kim Morris, John Fogleman Winters, Amanda Winters (Patrick Ditto), James G. Winters (Cindy), Jeffrey A. Winters (Michele), and his 17 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
He graduated from University of Florida and received his law degree from Stetson University. He served as Sgt. in the Army and was a member of the Rotary Club International, Kiwanis, Mason Lodge 138 and past president of the local chapter of March of Dimes.
A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, June 26, 2014 at 3:00PM at First Presbyterian Church, 717 Prosperity Farms Road, North Palm Beach, FL 33408.
Flowers may be sent to the church. Contributions may be made in his honor to Vitas Hospice Care, American Diabetes Association and National Kidney Foundation.
