Clyde Allen Hall, Jr. ’59

Mr. Clyde Allen Hall Jr, 76, of Dalton passed away on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at his residence after a long illness. Allen came to Dalton in 1966 to begin a computer system for Cabin Craft. He later worked for Science Management America, followed by management at Enduro Mills until he joined Multitex and Globaltex until retirement in 2007.

Allen will be remembered as a wonderful husband, father, and friend to many. He was born in Elkin, North Carolina to the late Clyde and Mano Brown Hall. Allen is survived by his loving wife and best friend for 54 years, Caroline Hall, 502 Mt Sinai Rd. Dalton, GA 30720; daughter, Lauren Foxworth Hall; sister and brother-in-law, Bonnie and Hal Stuart; nieces and their husbands, Mandy and David Stroup, Robinette and John McLeroy; great niece, Bonnie Stroup; during Allen’s illness he and the family gained a special friend and devoted companion to Allen, Edward Charles McClure.
