Josiah A. P. Cameron ’09

Josiah A.P. Cameron ’09, of Jenkintown, Pa. passed on April 11. 2006. He grew up in Pennsylvania where he played football, baseball, and had the lead in several school plays. He was also an active member of the youth group of St. Thomas Episcopal Church. He became a freshman at Davidson in the fall of 2005 and was a football and rugby player. He had a keen interest in history, particularly concentrating on Middle Eastern history. Survivors include his father, Dr. John B. Cameron ’63, 402 West Ave., Jenkintown, Pa. 19046; his mother, Dr. Kathleen Pearle; brothers, Asa and Burton; a sister, Mireille; and his fiancée Emily Beale of New York City.
