Lauren Claire Soper , a New Orleans native, died Friday at her home of undetermined causes. She was 27. Miss Soper lived in Algiers for 26 years and was a graduate of Benjamin Franklin High School. She also attended Davidson College in North Carolina.
Survivors include her father, Howard Kent Soper ; her mother, Dr. Mary Pate Soper ; her maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. William Wesley Pate of Auburn, Ala.; two brothers, Matthew Howard Soper of Austin, Texas, and Lt. j.g. William Paul Soper of Jacksonville, Fla.; and a sister, Mary Norman Soper of Memphis, Tenn.
