Bonnie Frank Norris III, born Aug. 11, 1940, passed away on Wednesday, March 1, 2017, at Alexandria Place.
Son of the late Bonnie Frank Norris Jr. and Clementine Brodie Norris, Frankie was a graduate of Ashley High School in 1958 and Davidson College in 1962. A sales rep for his father’s engineering firm and a social worker for the state, he was also an Eagle Scout, photographer and talented piano player who loved to share his taste in classical music with everyone. Frankie’s best talent was his ability to make children laugh.
He is survived by his sisters, Bonnie Norris Gallagher, Christine Norris Weinberg, Beverly Norris Rupp; and eight nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Elizabeth Norris Jackson.
Graveside services will be private at Oakwood Cemetery.
